A very warm welcome to our Newsletter page.  We aim to produce newsletters about every 2 months or so, but it's based mainly on community blooming activity going on around the town and the exciting things we'd like to share with you.  Just click on the month you would like to look at and it will take you to the newsletter itself.

Enjoy, and please let us know of any suggestions you may have via our Contact Us page.  Thanks so much for your interest.  Happy blooming!

This newsletter covers a huge range of our activities from digging and planting flowers and vegetables to making and hanging Christmas bells and decorating the LIC Xmas tree.  Our hyacinths sold at various events around the town remain a popular and timely present ideas.  Our friends at Crewkerne Railway Station also entered the SW Community Railway Biodiversity competition, and won!  It's all here, just click on the #39 Newsletter link. Pics to follow very shortly.

With volunteers getting their watering hats on throughout our long hot summer, Crewkerne remained a colourful gem with gorgeous hanging baskets and tubs.  Our lovely volunteer, Sallie, explains how we are coping with climate change and many others have contributed with their own garden and neighbourhood creativity.

Just click on the Newsletter #38 link to read all about it.

From lovely loos and baskets to an absolutely stunning gardens competition.  Thank you to all of you who entered, the judges did indeed have a mighty task.

The large planters around the town are beginning to look gorgeous and the herb baskets behind the library are there for all to use.  Feel free to pick up a sprig or two on your way past.

We are so pleased to have these wonderful water tanks installed, they will be so very useful when watering around the town and a real boost to water conservation.  We are also thrilled with the new planter outside the town hall and have been sprucing up existing planters.  All this, and more .... hope you enjoy our Newsletter.

Our Hyacinth sales proved as popular as ever and we enjoyed going around the town adding a little festive spirit with our Christmas Stars, rounding off the year with a jolly Christmas lunch. Merry Christmas to all and a happy new year.
